Buon Ricordo remains a great place to enjoy Italian food at its best alongside some of the country’s finest drinks. There’s bubbly from Franciacorta, prosecco from the Veneto and Soave, too, vermentino from Sardinia, falanghina, fiano and greco from Campania and carricante from Sicily. While the great reds of Piedmont and Tuscany dominate, some at almost affordable prices, there’s plenty of choice from Sicily, Campania, Friuli too. All this is balanced by a thoughtful selection of Australian wines. Finish with a digestif from the list by the glass or the selection of grappa from Poli of the Veneto.
